RSS Syndication

From Wikipedia:

RSS is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated digital content, such as blogs, news feeds or podcasts.

Users of RSS content use programs called feed "readers" or "aggregators:" the user subscribes to a feed by supplying to his or her reader a link to the feed; the reader can then check the user's subscribed feeds to see if any of those feeds have new content since the last time it checked, and if so, retrieve that content and present it to the user.

OK, the front page (where most of the new content is published) can be found at the bottom of the front page, or here:

This site is currently host to 3 blogs. While most of the content will also be presented on the front page, some of it may not be (particularly from the "Personal Blog"). Further, if you're only interested in specific topics, you could subscribe to only one of the feeds below:

  • Science & Technology: These posts will be scientific discussions of technology, its impact, and current research. It is more geared toward intellectuals and its posts will usually be more lengthy.
  • Random & Interesting: Lots of things I come across aren't worthy of detailed analysis. They are just mere curiosities or musings. That's what this blog is about.
  • Personal Blog: This blog is for my friends, family, and acquaintances who are interested in what is happenings in my life. Most "random" strangers probably won't be too interested. Most of the content from this blog probably won't be published on the front page.

OK, that pretty much sums it up. By-the-by, I recommend using Google Reader as your RSS aggregator. Its user-interface is the best, and it just "works."
